My Services

  • Fitness assessments

A fitness assessment is an evaluation of your level of fitness. Taking your current status into account allows me to design a routine specifically tailored for you. This will help us set realistic goals to achieve your desired results and boost your rate of success.

  • Functional training

Functional training or purposeful training is preparing and conditioning your body to perform optimally for either daily activities or a specific purpose such as a sport.

  • Weight loss and toning

Diet and exercise go hand in hand in order to achieve a toned body. You need to engage in strength training as well as shed the layer of fat covering your muscles.

  • Strength training

Strength training is a key component to overall health and well being. It promotes body fat reduction, increases lean muscle mass and facilitates the burning of calories more efficiently.

  • Core training

Targets the group of muscles that make up the “core” providing the foundation for strength and flexibility in your everyday life and activities. These stabilizing muscles help control overall movement, distribute weight and protect the back reducing the risk of injury.

  • Flexibility and balance

Flexibility tends to decrease with age as well as be overlooked in general. Without adequate flexibility daily activities become arduous to perform. Consequently, improved flexibility will enhance training and muscular conditioning in sport.

  • Special Needs Training

Training those with special needs, for example, Parkinson's Disease, cerebral palsy and autism.

  • Body Building

    To develop one’s muscular system.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The complimentary session starts with a discussion of your goals, exercise history, any limitations or issues you may have, etc. Then you will have an assessment, which is actually a basic workout that will show me what your stamina and strength levels are. I will find out exactly what level you are at, and how you should be trained. At the end of the session, you will decide what session package you would like to buy and we will set you up in my schedule!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified, TRX Certified (suspension straps), Exercise for Frail Elders Certified, and CPR/AED Certified.

Every 2 years I take continuing education to renew my certification.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I consider one of my best skills being able to train a very wide range of people with different goals, abilities, limitations, etc. I excel and am familiar training people for everything from weight loss, toning, strength and size, bodybuilding and more. Everyone's training includes some flexibility and balance. I also have experience working with seniors, people with orthopedic issues, and handicapped people. Part of what I love about my work is meeting many different types of people!
